On this episode, 13-year NHL veteran and current Philadelphia Flyers center Nate Thompson joins us to share some of the vast wisdom gained from a long career in the NHL.  Along with his wisdom, Nate's continued passion for the game is inspiring.  He continues to chase every edge possible at 37 years of age to sustain his success.  Along with that, you'll get to hear some unbelievable nuggets about leading the younger guys, things he had to learn when he was young, and his change in attitude when he got sober.  On the quest to reach 1,000 career NHL games, Nate talks about his reinvigorated spirit towards training - adopting new age modalities like cold/heat exposure and breath work to enhance performance.  This transitions beautifully into Nate's Diamond Series - what he's willing to struggle for, his non-negotiables, habits, and vision for the future.  We finish the conversation talking about free will.  Do we have it, or is our decision-making just a collection of the options we knew at the time?
